Writing More Doesn’t Make You a Better Writer. The Right Feedback Does.
Most people assume writing improves with practice: the more you write, the better you get. That’s only true if someone reads what you write carefully and corrects it specifically. If you write with the same habits, the same sentence patterns and the same errors every time, you’re not practising improvement. You’re practising the mistakes.
Marks don’t fix that either. A score of 14 out of 20 tells you almost nothing about what to change. What changes your writing is an explanation: what went wrong, why it went wrong, and how to fix it, followed by a chance to fix it yourself.
That’s how this course works. You write, your work is marked within 24 hours with every correction explained, and you rewrite it. Each round, the same mistake gets harder to make.
This Course Is Right for You If
You struggle to express ideas clearly
Your writing has repeated errors
You need better essays
You’re preparing for IELTS Writing
You write emails or reports at work
You want to edit your own work
From Correct Sentences to Complete Essays
The course climbs a ladder, from correct sentences to complete essays, reports and applications. You move up when your writing shows you’re ready, and most students take about 3 months. Every piece is marked within 24 hours and rewritten before you move on.
Sentence construction
- → Clear, grammatically correct sentences with the right structure
- → The sentence-level errors that make writing unclear
- → Punctuation that helps your reader, not confuses them
Paragraph development
- → Topic sentences, supporting details and examples
- → Paragraphs that make one point clearly before moving on
- → Conclusions that close a paragraph properly
Essay and response writing
- → Argumentative, descriptive and analytical essays
- → Planning before you write, then writing to the plan
- → Introductions and conclusions that do their job
Coherence and flow
- → Linking ideas and using transitions
- → Moving logically from one point to the next
- → The difference between correct writing and good writing
Academic and practical writing
- → Formal academic essays and assignments
- → Professional emails, reports and applications
- → Adapting tone, register and style to your reader
Editing and self-correction
- → Reading your own writing with a critical eye
- → Finding your own weak points
- → Revising effectively, without someone else finding every error
This is the usual plan; after your free demo we adjust it to your level and goals.
This Is Not a Mark. This Is an Explanation.
Every piece of writing goes round the same four steps, and every round makes the next piece better.
1. You write
2. Marked within 24 hours
3. Every correction explained
4. You rewrite it
